YOU ORGANIZED A
LOCAL MEETUP GROUP IN
MONTREAL. WHY?
MONTREAL. WHY?
We challenge
ourselves without killing ourselves. I enjoy
hikes that are D5 through D7, and skiing blue, black and
double-black runs.

WHERE DO YOU HIKE?
Everywhere. It
could be within driving distance of Montreal
for the day or the Amalfi Coast in Italy as we just did this
summer.

WHERE DO YOU RUN
Indoors at the gym
where I have been a member for a long
time. They have a great running track. Outdoors, in the
Laurentian mountains north of Montreal where I have a
home. In the city, we run to and around the mountain.
Fresh air, fun and camaraderie is what it’s all about.

THESE ARE SOME OF
HIS VALUABLE IDEAS
WEIGHT CONTROL
Here's
my take: It is your lifestyle that creates a set-point for your body weight.
This set-point is based on only three variables: your genetic disposition, the
calories you consume (take in with food and drink), and, the calories you burn.
WATER
Water
performs various functions in the body: it carries nutrients through the
system, lubricates joints, transports waste, and keeps the skin supple. And
that's just the short list. For example, the brain is about 85% water, so it
follows that our clear-headed thinking requires a daily supply of fresh water.
